A Fair Day’s Pay – Tritact Ltd’s Journey to Becoming a Living Wage Employer

At Tritact Ltd, we’ve always believed that people are at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s our staff, our clients, or the partners we work with, we know that success is built on respect, trust, and fairness.

But for us, fairness isn’t just a value we talk about, it’s something we live by.

That’s why we’re proud to share some exciting news: Tritact Ltd is now an accredited Living Wage Employer.

Why We Took This Step

The idea started with a simple question: “Are we doing enough to make sure our people can live, not just survive?”

While the government sets a National Living Wage, we discovered that it often doesn’t cover the true cost of living, things like rent, bills, food, and childcare. The real Living Wage is different. It’s an independently calculated rate, based on what people actually need to get by.

Right now, that means:
- £12.60 per hour across the UK
- £13.85 per hour in London

When we looked at our own team and contractors, it became clear: we wanted to make sure everyone connected to Tritact Ltd, whether directly employed or part of our regular third-party teams, earns at least this amount.
More Than a Badge

Becoming a Living Wage Employer isn’t just about a certificate or a logo. It’s about standing with over 15,000 organisations across the UK who believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay.

It means that the cleaners who keep our spaces fresh, the admin teams who keep our systems running, and every person who helps us deliver our services is treated with the same principle of fairness.

And while we can’t solve every challenge people face, we can take responsibility for what’s within our control, and that’s making sure our pay reflects the true cost of living.

Our Next Step - Going Global

Our journey doesn’t stop here. We are now working towards becoming a Global Living Wage Employer, ensuring that as our operations, partnerships, and supply chains extend beyond the UK, the same commitment to fair pay applies worldwide.

This next step will align our business even more strongly with international standards on decent work and fair pay, ensuring that fairness is built into every part of our global operations.

By paying the real Living Wage and working towards a Global Living Wage commitment, Tritact Ltd is contributing directly to the United Nations SDGs, including:
